Ambient Temperature Housings for 1-1/8 Inch (30 mm) diameter side on PMT's

The Products for Research ambient temperature PR1405CE Shuttered Housing for 1-1/18 inch Side Window PMT's is based on the very popular PR1402CE.
Combining a built in 'o' ring sealed light shutter with the convenient, high performance features of the PR1402CE, the PR1405CE offers the ultimate in photomultiplier packaging.
Basic Housing - The PR1402RF, the basis for the PR1405CE is ideally suited for those applications not requiring a shutter. The PR1402CE includes all features listed for the PR1405RF except the light shutter.

NOTE: Use PR1405SHCE or PR1402SHCE when ordering these housings with the optional magnetic shield.
NOTE: The PR1405CE and PR1402CE are marked but otherwise are identical to the older PR14O5RF and PR1402RF respectively.
NOTE: The Photomultiplier Tube type must be specified with any order.

Special low loss wired socket assemblies which permit rotation of the tube for optimum photocathode alignment and an "O" ring seal between cover and base ensure optimum tube performance.

Quick connect devices with safety locks make tube installation a few seconds job and yet insures that once installed, the tube will not accidentally be exposed to light.

The low profile manual light shutter completes the package by insuring, a totally light tight "O" ring sealed unit ready for immediate operation.

BNC and MHV connectors are used for anode and cathode connectors and an optional .040" thick high permeability welded seam magnetic shield is available at a small additional price.

RF shielding is standard for the PR1405CE and PR1402CE, thereby permitting use both in analog and pulse counting applications.

The PR1411CE is a variation of the PR1402CE which provides a vacuum seal for applications involving light detection in vacuum.

The PR1425CE is a variation of the PR1402CE which accepts PMT's of 1.56 inch (39.6 mm) diameter.
